Dalmia Seven News

Dalmia Seven’s plant at Katni, M.P. has successfully completed an audit conducted  by Intertek/UK. The facilities were audited according to the latest 2015 IMS version for Quality, Environment, and Health and Safety. The re-certification audit which is held every three years was also simultaneously completed.

Dalmia Seven’s Management Representative Sandip Das, who was leading the auditing team, comments: “The three-day audit in mid-August was a challenging exercise which demanded a lot of preparation and on-site work, but also very rewarding. The outcome of the audit showed that the factory was already largely compliant, with only minor observations and documentations. Those were updated within the stipulated time to reach 100% compliance. We have now received the new certificates.“

Dalmia Seven as an organisation is thus fully IMS compliant. For a sustainable result, a schedule of additional weekly training of two hours was implemented.

“We are very proud to be a holder of the 2015 IMS certification. From my side, I wish to express my sincere thanks to the management and the entire team for their tireless effort and exhaustive work towards this achievement“, summarizes Sheikh Bashir Mohammed, Head of Manufacturing & Technology.
